General Timeline

General Membership and Awards Timeline:

• Memberships are due by September 15 of each membership year (July 1–June 30).

• July 1st - Membership Application Opens

• Sept. 15th - Last Date to Become a Member

  • Only coaches with an active membership by this date who also meet the meeting attendance requirement (Article V of the Bylaws) are eligible to nominate players for PHSFHCA All-State and Academic honors.

  • Returning members must attend at least one of the two annual meetings prior to the nomination window to be eligible to nominate for All-State and All-Academic honors.

  • New members may submit nominations during their first membership year provided they attend the December meeting in that same year. 

    • Example for New Members ONLY: New coach is hired August 1, becomes a member September 1, nominates player November 15, attends December membership meeting. 

    • This timeline is ONLY for new members.  All others must attend a membership meeting December (first Sun.) and/or April (last Sun.) of the calendar year prior to nomination period. 

• Nov. 1st - Nomination Forms Distributed to Member Coaches

• Dec. 1st - Nominations Due Back (Hard Deadline, No Exceptions)

• 1st Sunday in December - All-State Selection Committee Meeting (8am-12pm)

• 1st Sunday in December - Semi-Annual In-Person Membership Meeting (12:30-2pm)

  • A virtual option is available for coaches over 100 miles from the meeting site

• 2nd Sunday in December

  • • All-State Awards Press Release

• 3rd Sunday in December

  • • All-State Certificates Available for Download

    • All-Academic Awards (Individual GPA and Team GPA) Press Release

• 2nd Sunday In January

  • • All-Academic Awards (Individual GPA and Team GPA) Available for Download

• Last Sunday in April - Semi-Annual Virtual Membership Meeting (8-9pm)
