Germantown Friends School:Varsity Assistant & JV Head Field Hockey Coach Positions Germantown Friends School is accepting applications for coaches for its highly competitive Field Hockey Program. Applicants need to be good communicators with a positive coaching philosophy and proven coaching experience, or the drive to learn the craft of coaching. Candidates should be knowledgeable about the latest techniques that apply to training, and most importantly be interested in engaging with athletes in a meaningful and intentional way. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to coach in a positive manner and adhere to the values of the school, and the Friends Schools League. The Varsity Assistant and JV Head Coaches will work collaboratively with our Head Varsity Coach to build tactical and skill progressions throughout our program. These are part-time positions from August-November, each weekday afternoon and some Saturdays. Practice is 3:45– 5:45 p.m., plus games. Candidates with the aptitude and /or qualifications for classroom teaching, specifically PE or assistant teaching, are especially encouraged to apply. Springside Chestnut Hill Academy is looking for an Upper School Assistant FH Coach. The successful candidate will be a coach that is willing to develop our scholar-athletes while demonstrating strong character, professionalism, relational skills and be a positive role model appropriately utilizing the platform of their sport.

 Essential Functions

·  Assists with tryouts and all practices.

·  Helps players understand the program objectives.

·  Communicates clear expectations to the players and parents.

·  Represents the school in a manner that exhibits and promotes SCH’s mission.

·  Develops positive, productive relationships with the entire SCH community. 

·  Keeps Athletic Director informed of problems and/or concerns.

·  Assists student athletes wishing to play at the collegiate level.

·  Represents the school in a positive manner

CB West is accepting applications for a Head Field Hockey Coach for the Fall 2021 season. The Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the program. The successful candidate will have knowledge of the sport and be willing to work with secondary students. Flexible schedule is required as the Head Coach will be expected to coordinate and attend practices and games. Candidate must possess a commitment to understanding the unique role of the student/athlete and appreciate the importance of values-based coaching. Previous playing or coaching experience preferred. Upper Dublin High School Athletic Department has an immediate opening for a varsity field hockey coach.  The candidate should have a desire to work with student athletes, be enthusiastic, patient, organized, mature, dependable and responsible.  They must be available for the times of games, practices and meetings. The Mt. Lebanon Field Hockey Association seeks experienced field hockey coaches for positions in its Youth and Middle School programs (3rd through 8th grade) for Summer Camps and the Fall 2021 season. Coaching commitment varies from 1-2 days/week to 5 days/week, dependent on program & age group. Playing experience required, coaching experience preferred. Pay rates vary, up to $30/hour based on experience.
